Where required or otherwise provided, our website may offer cookie or privacy controls that allow users to manage certain analytics and advertising technologies.
We may use technologies such as Google Consent Mode or similar systems to communicate a visitor's applicable consent choices to advertising and analytics technologies.
Google explains that Consent Mode allows website tags to adjust their behavior based on consent choices communicated by a website or consent-management platform.
The availability and effect of privacy controls may depend on your location, applicable law, browser, device, and the technologies operating on our website.
9. HOW WE DISCLOSE PERSONAL INFORMATION
We may disclose personal information to third parties when reasonably necessary to operate Emerald Legacy and provide our Services.

10. SALE, SHARING AND TARGETED ADVERTISING
Green Horizon Press LLC does not sell personal information for money as part of its ordinary business model.
However, we may use analytics, advertising, and marketing technologies—including technologies provided by Google and potentially other advertising platforms—that involve disclosing or making available online identifiers, device information, internet or electronic activity, advertising interactions, and related information to third parties.
Certain privacy laws may characterize some advertising-related disclosures as the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information even when no money is exchanged.
For example, California law defines “sharing” to include certain disclosures of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Accordingly, where applicable law considers our use of advertising or tracking technologies to constitute selling, sharing, targeted advertising, or cross-context behavioral advertising, eligible users may have the right to opt out.
Where legally required, Emerald Legacy will provide an appropriate mechanism for exercising applicable rights. This may include a “Your Privacy Choices,” “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information,” or comparable privacy control.
Where required, we will also recognize qualifying browser-based opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control (“GPC”), in accordance with applicable law.
11. BUSINESS TRANSFERS
If Green Horizon Press LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, change of control, or similar business transaction, personal information may be disclosed or transferred in connection with the transaction, subject to applicable law.
12. DATA RETENTION
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to accomplish the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
Retention periods may vary depending upon the nature of the information, our relationship with you, and applicable legal requirements.
We may retain information for purposes including:
- Providing products and Services;
- Maintaining customer and affiliate relationships;
- Maintaining transaction and order histories;
- Processing returns, refunds, and chargebacks;
- Processing affiliate commissions and commission adjustments;
- Preventing and investigating fraud;
- Maintaining tax, accounting, and business records;
- Resolving disputes;
- Enforcing agreements;
- Establishing or defending legal claims; and
- Complying with applicable legal obligations.
Certain transaction, tax, payment, fraud-prevention, security, affiliate, and legal records may be retained after an account is closed or a deletion request is received when retention is permitted or required by law.
13. DATA SECURITY
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
However, no website, internet transmission, database, payment system, or information-storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and should contact us promptly if you believe your Emerald Legacy account or personal information has been compromised.
14. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY AND AGE REQUIREMENTS
The Emerald Legacy game is intended for persons 21 years of age or older.
You must be at least 21 years old to purchase the Emerald Legacy game through our website.
The 21+ designation relates, among other things, to the game's mature and cannabis-industry themes. Emerald Legacy and Green Horizon Press LLC do not sell or distribute cannabis through the website.
Our Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through Services directed to them.
If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child in circumstances prohibited by applicable law, we will take appropriate steps to delete or otherwise process that information as required.
15. THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES AND SERVICES
Our Services may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites, ecommerce platforms, social-media platforms, payment processors, affiliate platforms, shipping providers, analytics providers, advertising networks, and other services.
These third parties may independently collect and process information under their own terms and privacy policies.
Green Horizon Press LLC does not control the privacy practices of independent third parties.
We encourage you to review the privacy policies of third-party services before providing personal information to them.
16. INTERNATIONAL USERS
Emerald Legacy is operated from the United States.
If you access or purchase from our Services outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in the United States or other countries in which our service providers operate.
Privacy and data-protection laws in those locations may differ from the laws of your country.
Where applicable law imposes additional requirements concerning international data transfers or processing, we will implement appropriate measures as required.
If Emerald Legacy expands its operations, sales, or marketing into jurisdictions requiring additional privacy disclosures, rights, consent mechanisms, or safeguards, we may provide supplemental privacy notices or update this Privacy Policy accordingly.
17. YOUR PRIVACY CHOICES AND RIGHTS
Depending upon where you live, applicable law, and whether particular privacy laws apply to Green Horizon Press LLC, you may have certain rights concerning your personal information.
These rights may include the ability to:

California's Attorney General describes these and other CCPA consumer rights.
To submit an applicable privacy request, contact us at:
info@emeraldlegacyclub.com
If Green Horizon Press LLC becomes subject to additional requirements under the CCPA because of its size, business practices, data-processing activities, or applicable statutory thresholds, we will update our disclosures and privacy mechanisms as appropriate.
19. GLOBAL PRIVACY CONTROL AND OPT-OUT PREFERENCE SIGNALS
Certain browsers and browser extensions allow users to send privacy preference signals, including Global Privacy Control (“GPC”).
Where Green Horizon Press LLC is legally required to recognize an applicable opt-out preference signal, we will process qualifying signals in accordance with applicable law.
California recognizes GPC as a mechanism through which consumers can communicate certain applicable opt-out preferences concerning sale or sharing.
The effect of a GPC signal may depend on applicable law, the browser or device from which the signal is sent, and whether we can reasonably associate the signal with other information or an account.
20. DO NOT TRACK
Some browsers provide a “Do Not Track” or similar setting.
Because there is not a universally accepted technical standard governing all Do Not Track signals, our response to such signals may vary depending on applicable technology and legal requirements.
This section does not limit our obligation to recognize legally required opt-out preference signals, such as GPC, where applicable.
21. AUTHORIZED AGENTS
Where applicable law permits, you may designate an authorized agent to submit certain privacy requests on your behalf.
We may take reasonable steps permitted by law to verify:
- Your identity;
- The identity of the authorized agent;
- The agent's authority to act on your behalf; and/or
- The authenticity of the request.
22. PROMOTIONS, CONTESTS, GIVEAWAYS AND EVENTS
If you participate in an Emerald Legacy contest, sweepstakes, giveaway, promotion, VIP event, survey, or similar activity, we may collect information necessary to administer that activity.
This may include your name, email address, shipping information, social-media information, eligibility information, submitted content, and other information described when you enter.
Additional privacy disclosures or Official Rules may apply to particular promotions.
We may use information collected through these activities to administer the promotion, verify eligibility, select and contact winners, deliver prizes, prevent fraud, satisfy legal obligations, and for other purposes disclosed when you participate.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes to:
- Our Services;
- Products;
- Technologies;
- Advertising and analytics practices;
- Service providers;
- Business operations; or
- Applicable legal requirements.
